Mac Cook Collection Colour Added Eyeshadow Quad

So i finally got my hands on the new Mac Cook and Vera Collections i really only wanted the Eyeshadow Palettes but as for the vera collection i think i bought almost everything excluding some pearlglide eyeliners. so first i want to just take a look at the Palette Named Colour added this palette actually caught my eye in the promo pictures along with shop and drop.

the palette is so pretty i absolutely love the colors in pan and they all swatch pretty amazing considering how horrible the last mac eyeshadow Quads have been

Swatches:

I HAVE SWATCHED EACH COLOR WITH NYX JUMBO PENCIL IN MILK AS A BASE.

Colors:

Laundry Daze: is a satin this color is a creamy white with white shimmer throughout it i love how smooth this color feels an applies so nice

Colour Added: is a Veluxe Pearl this color in the pan looks more on the green side But when you apply it it is more on the yellow side this color also applies very nicely i would say it takes a little work to get a full color but not so much where it makes the color suffer.

Pre-Packaged: another Veluxe Pearl this is the star of this palette IMO i love this shade its an amazing dark teal shade and i think if this color wasn't in the palette i would have completely avoided the palette all together

Self Serve: is a satin this is the only color that you have t "work" with to get an amazing color pay off it is still very smooth and gorgeous though.

over all i say if these are your types of colors go for it this palette is so lovely and so many different looks can be created with it i wouldn't necessarily say you can create a "Natural" look with this palette but i am one for bold so i love this

i rate this a 9.5 love it get it (^_^)

Lancome Color Design Lilac Seduction

I Know my post are not from oldest to newest but i figure i would post my collection rather than whats the newest/oldest palettes

now this Palette was released i believe sometime before Christmas and comes in Limited Edition Packaging as well

SO Let me Just Say I ADORE PURPLE anything purple i have to have so this palette was def one of those and it did NOT Disappoint the colors are STUNNING!

Swatches

Dry no Base

With Base

And finally WET (SOOOOO STUNNING!!!)

Shade 1 All Over Lid to Brow: this color is like a Milky pink with Alot of Silver Glitter this one has certainly been different from the last Palettes i posted because the glitter it is a very pretty color and i would use this as a highlight for under the brow for sure it kind of has a matte finish except for the glitter throughout it

2 lid shade: ok i am IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!! this shade looks like a Jewel on the skin Especially Wet i love this color so much it def has some pink to it as well love it!

3 crease: this crease color reminds me a bit of the crease color in the violet sweetheart palette i think this one is a hint darker? it gave me the same application trouble as the violet sweetheart one again not too much to say pretty but meh

4 highlighter: this color i LOVE as well its like a taupe Purple color! so pretty for the inner corner maybe to touch in a bit as a transition color as well pigmented dry with a base and wet love it blends so easily too

5 Liner: this is another Big LOVE of mine its a rich deep purple but it has some blue to it which you would think it wouldnt work for this palette but actually its the color that brings it all together i would use this to make a smokey eye with this palette for sure! or even all over the lid and the lid color above it in the crease AHHH LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! (*3*)

Ok so this palette is a 10!!!!!!!!!!!! all the way LOVE it WOrth it Get it :)

Lancome Color Design Vert Tendresse

Following up from the 1st Lancome Spring 2012 Palette i Posted this is the Second Limited Edition Vert Tendresse 5 in 1 eyeshadow Palette

Just like the First Palette it has the same limited Edition Design on the Front of the Palette

This palette I Adore its one of those palettes though you have to see in person to really Appreciate im not big on greens but this is such a stunning palette and it def falls into that Spring Pastels of 2012

now on to Swatches

Dry with no Base these colors don't have the Best Pay off but you can see each color is unique throughout this palette

With a base under there is a BIG Difference but sadly my camera was telling me no to getting a on point photo i am sorry about that (;A;)

And since i couldn't get a Perfect pic with the Base Photos to help my Description I Want to post the colors used Wet with the Dry and base so it can help me a explain a bit more

1 All Over Lid to Brow: this color is stunning! you can tell in the photos but for some reason the best way i can describe this color is like a Powder Green its so Complex and i think it would Be a Beautiful Transition color not used wet it would Be an okay Brow Highlight

2 Lid shade: this shade is also very pretty i think cool skin tones would really appreciate ths shade no complaints pigmentation is great

3 Crease Shade: i love this color i haven't been Big on the last 2 Crease shades but this one i love i would even use it all over the lid it has Silver Glitter in it that really Shines through When used Wet

4 Highlight: this color is a frosty white but the twist is it has green reflex in it which makes it more complex so your not just getting a regular Frosty white shade i think this is my number one color in this palette because it's so complex

5 Liner: another beaut this is a dark green with tons of glitter reflex in it and again using this wet the reflex does not budge sooo pretty as a liner but even using the color to create a smokey eye with this palette would be amazing

this palette i rate a 10 no issues here (^_~)/

Lancome Color Design Spring 2012 Rose Romance

This post is going to be all about the New Lancome Color Deign 5 in 1 eyeshadow Palette in Rose Romance this spring its all about Pastels and Lancome is Certainly Delivering that with the Two Palettes they Have Released.

The Packaging again for these Palettes Are Special it says "Les Yeux Doux' On each of them and these Palettes are Limited Edition so i would Suggest if you end up loving this post and you want the palettes to get your hands on them asap (^_^)

Pinks Pink Pinks this palette has all different Shades of pink and the funny thing is I Am NOT a Pink Person but when I saw this in the Store I Said I want it! LOL

Looking at these colors and even in the swatches i Believe both cool and warm skin can get a good use of this palette

Now on to the Swatches

Dry with No Base i Have to say I Am not the Biggest Fan i think the colors look way to Similar they are still pretty but i just think it has that cotton candy Vomit feel to it too much of the same IMO

Now With A Base
you can see more of a difference between colors i am loving the lid shade and liner shade in this palette and again a lot more vibrant

Now on to the colors themselves

1 the "all over lid to brow shade": unlike Violet Sweetheart i have to say i WOULD use this color as a brow highlight its a icy pink shade and it would also be pretty for a inner corner color

2 the "lid color": my 2nd favorite in the palette is like a tangerine pink shade i just love how this color looks no complaints about this one

3 the crease shade: ok so maybe because i tend to NOT be a fan of Pinks this color but i dont see it being Number 1 to a lot of people plus you ave to pack it on to get awesome color payoff i will say its Mmm Just Okay.

4 the highlighter: this shade looks similar to number 1 but it is Different. this is a lot more pink though in my Photos its coming out a bit Silvery for some reason and the First shade has more White to it. Very pretty for a highlight i do like it

5 Liner Color: this is my favorite of the Palette i'm not big on Brown eyeshadows but i love this color is very rich an smooth and has very small pink reflects not so much that its Very Obvious like in the Violet Sweetheart liner color but just enough that it makes the shade Complex and Different.

Now I Would Like to Show the Colors Used WET you can really see a difference in the Highlighting shaded the 1st being more icy and the 2nd being more pink also that crease color did Not really improve being used Wet

i would Rate this from 1- 10 a 7

Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart

O.k So I have a Bunch of swatches from different Lancome Color Design 5 in 1 palettes coming your way and i've decided to start with the most recent one I Purchased the Violet Sweetheart palette

SO this is how the Violet Sweetheart Palette Looks Usually the Palettes wont come with any Particular Design on them but this was a Special one that also came out with the Pink Envy Palette which is one of the 1st 5 in 1 palettes Lancome Had Released and Rose Coquette WHich i personally am not the biggest Fan Of

The colors in this Palette are very Nice The color that caught my eye the most was the bottom "Liner" Shadow these shadows can be used wet or dry i have used them both ways and i have to say i love them both ways it gives such a different effect dry and wet its kind of like night and day with how much more vibrant these colors become

this is the Palette with out a base. the colors have a nice payoff but the way i Love my eyeshadows is ridiculously Bright so i prefer a base

Now this is the Paette with A Base Underneath As You Can See the color pay off is alot more amazing these colors are so smooth i love it they have kind of a buttery feel.

the First Shade Is Like a Pink Champagne color this is said to be used as the highlight under the Brpw born and in the inner corner of the eye but i personally would never use this under my brow bone for the simple face i dont like too much color under my brow i would use it in the inner corner of my eye though and maybe if i want a more natural look all over the lid for a quick wash of pink. the color is Nice but not my Favorite

the Second color as i stated above is the "all over Lid color" it is a Pink but you can see right away it has alot of Lavender undertones almost like A tint of Grey to it as well I DO Love this color its very different but in the swatches it is difficult to come up on my skin though in person it looks very nice without a base it is true to pan color with a base more of that greyish purple undertone shows through, So it does change a bit but never the less still an awesome color.

The third middle shade the "Crease color" is a Grey Satin color it has very little silver reflects in it really not too much to say about this shade its very nice not the best

Now In My Opinion the Star of the show the Fourth "highlighter" Shade this color is another one that is said to be used in the inner corner or above the crease shade thsi color is a mauve with tons of silver reflects in it not chunky at all i would use this all over the lid with shade number 1 as the inner corner highlight so pretty Def my Favorite shade!

And last my Other Favorite The "Liner" Color I Love this color so much it is a Deep Purple with Tons of Pink Glitter Reflects in it i would use this as a liner but also a crease color or even mixed with the other colors to make the palette a bit more Smokey.

Now these are the colors Wet I Have to say the Last two i Love about 1000 times more wet because the effect the colors give off and the vibrancy and the fact those glitter reflects do NOT budge! so amazing the matte shade i put wet and it only made about 0.1% difference in the color so not to much and the shade number 1 all over i again would not place that from lid to brow!

overall from 1-10 i would say Probably an 8
